These sausage cheese & jam bites are so flavorful & great fun for any celebration. Assembly is a cinch & they’re perfect at room temperature.

Ingredients:
1 pound smoked sausage (pork or turkey)
8 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce (apricot, cherry or jalapeño/spicy preserves or jam work perfectly as well)
Parsley for garnish
Roadmap:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut cheese into 30 equal size cubes. Set aside.
- Cut sausage link into 1/2 inch slices. Place in a single layer on baking sheet.
- Bake 15 – 20 minutes until sausage is starting to brown around the edges.
- Remove pan from the oven and immediately top each sausage with a cheese cube so it just slightly begins to melt & adhere.
- Top each cheese cube with about 1/4 teaspoon preserves/jam. Place skewer thru the top into the sausage.
- Place assembled bites onto a serving platter, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with remaining preserves/jam on the side.
These bites are yummy during cocktail hour or for your company to graze over all day long. With that said, they won’t last long. Enjoy!
