I’ve made many versions of these toast bites & these are everyone’s all time favorite. They’re so darn tasty. You just can’t beat ‘em!

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 scallions/green onions, small chop

1/2 cup slivered *almonds, chopped

1/4 cup green olives, chopped

6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

1 Baguette loaf

Roadmap:

  1. In a bowl, thoroughly mix together, the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, cheese, scallions, almonds, olives and bacon.
  2. Cut bread into 1/2 inch slices & spread with bacon cheese mixture. If desired, for small bites, cut slices in half.
  3. Place on a parchment or foil lined baking sheet & bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until bubbly.

A beautiful addition to your canapés or as a light appetizer. You truly cannot make enough of these tasty toasts.

*For nut allergies, Pumpkin seeds are a perfect substitution for the almonds.

To make in advance,  place a single layer of assembled, unbaked bites on sheet pan & freeze for an hour. Once frozen, put in zip bags or airtight container. When ready, remove from freezer, place on parchment lined sheet pan & bake for 10 minutes.
